It simply was not possible to thank all the different people involved in creating the organisation, and in any event it is my policy to thank you by way of a reference rather than to applaud your competence in front of the guests who are already experiencing that for themselves. I would particularly like you to convey our appreciation to every single staff member who assisted you. The girls and boys who waited at tables and manned the bar, the wonderful chefs and their staff, the guys who designed and erected and took down the structures and who did the decor, the musicians and the disco. It all seemed to work harmoniously and one got the impression there was a really excellent team at work who all seemed to know what the other people were doing and what was expected of them as individuals.
